Strategic sustainability advisory

Sustainability and ESG work when they are part of a company’s DNA.

And that starts in the boardroom. Advisergy supports SMEs from the strategic decision in the board of directors to the sustainability report under the VSME standard. The focus is on what creates value: financing, contracts and company value.

Core lever

Market access

Pass tenders and supplier audits instead of being screened out.

Communicate credibly, without greenwashing risk.

Extended

Innovation

Why now

The requests are coming, even without a reporting obligation of your own.

Most SMEs are not directly required to report. They are affected all the same: through their customers, their bank and their own communication.

VSME / VSCSRD · ESRS 2.0

Supply chain

Larger customers in Switzerland and the EU pass their reporting duties on to suppliers. Under ESRS 2.0, a value chain cap limits what they may ask for. The VSME report is designed for exactly this.

CO Art. 964a–c

Non-financial reporting

Large companies report on environmental, social and employee matters, human rights and corruption. They collect the data for this from their suppliers.

UCA Art. 3 para. 1 let. xDirective (EU) 2024/825

Greenwashing ban

Since January 2025, environmental claims in Switzerland must be backed by evidence. The EU is following with the EmpCo Directive. We check what you are allowed to say.

CO Art. 754CO Art. 827

Board responsibility

Sustainability risks are part of the duty of care of the board and management, in a company limited by shares (AG) as well as in a limited liability company (GmbH).

Our approach

From the first meeting to an assured report.

Four clearly defined steps. We advise and support you; an independent, accredited partner carries out the assurance.

Assessment

Where does your company stand, what are customers and your bank asking for, and which data is already available?

Advisergy

ESG report under VSME

We collect the data with your team and prepare the report under the Basic Module, with the Comprehensive Module on request.

Advisergy

Implement measures

The report leads to concrete measures with measurable benefits: costs, contracts, risks.

Advisergy

Independent assurance

On request, a partner licensed by the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) reviews your report. Advisory and assurance remain strictly separate.

For boards · ESG awareness seminar

Embedding ESG starts in the boardroom.

The board of directors sets the strategy and bears the responsibility. In the ESG awareness seminar, board members and executive management learn what sustainability requires by law and where it creates strategic value. Compact, based on Swiss law, with practical examples from SMEs.
